To provide endowment and operating support for financial aid, artist residencies, and a Dean’s Resource Fund at the School of Art. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Scholarships are given to Master of Fine Arts students from outside of the United States. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artists-in-Residency program allows high caliber international artists to visit the School to give lectures and direct seminars. The Dean’s Resource Fund is used to increase and expand the exhibitions at the School’s new gallery space in downtown New Haven.
Founded in 1869, the Yale School of Art is the oldest university art school in the country. The School of Art offers undergraduate and graduate study in Painting/Printmaking, Graphic Design, Sculpture, and Photography.
